Hi folks,

since I could not attend BRUG's birthday almost two years ago, I still plan on flying N1990B from Germany over to the British Islands. So In the second and third week of July 2019 I want to tour all around and hope to meet other Luscombe or vintage plane owners.

Let me know if I could meet you or if you suggest a nice area to fly or land in.

So far, my route will go more or less like this:
EDVC Celle-Arloh
EHMZ Middelburg-Zeeland
EGSQ Clacton-on-Sea
North to the Inverness Area
somehow through Scotland
Sollas Beach
Isle of Skye
Northern Irleand
Irish West Coast
Isle of Wight
Through France just south of Paris airspace
EDSB Karlsruhe Baden-Baden
EDVC Celle-Arloh

Apologies for not responding sooner, but the website has been a bit "spammed "lately....

Your plan for next summer looks good and you should be able to meet up with several UK Luscombe owners as you travel throughout the will be most welcome to come and visit a airstrip that has 3 Luscombes based on it on your southern leg of your trip . location is Kittyhawk Farm situated midway between the Isle of Wight and Dover..... Pub and accomodations can also be arranged !

Hi Florian, good to see you are still a Luscombe man. You probably know, but if not, there are two, or possibly three Luscombes in Ireland, all in the Galway area I think. Keep us posted on your plans, Liz and I will try to meet you on teh English leg of your trip.

Don’t forget Glenforsa airfield whilst your up in the highlands and the west coast. Fly down Lochness and head for Mull - worth the flight in its own right, but landing by the sea on their grass strip is fab.

I slept under the wing when I last flew there, but the Glenforsa hotel, bar and restaurant is basically on the strip...
