Bolt Head is a great airstrip to visit, we have been there several times over the years and have enjoyed the walk down to South Sands and onwards to Salcombe or the nearby cove at Soar Mill. Stayed overnight (under canvas ) a couple of times.

Only trouble with a fixed date to visit is the weather ! We tend to make decisions on flying visits at last minute to take advantage of certainty of VFR :sunny:

I would be happy if any Luscombe owners wish to fly in to Bolt Head call me the day before and that would be fine.
